Works

"The year of the dragon". This most controversial work by Vadim Davydov was first presented to the public in 2005 through the electronic portals Aldebaran and FictionBook . According to the author himself, " The Year of the Dragon " is primarily about love, but many readers disagree with it. The novel provoked excited discussions among a wide variety of readers. His emotionally charged style of presentation with a frequently changing development rhythm can indeed arouse very contradicting feelings. It cannot be ruled out that the author was aiming for this effect. It is hardly possible to assign the novel to a specific genre. The novel is a non-vulgar piece of modern prose.

" The Heir apparent ". Immediately after the samizdat was published (self-published), the novel found its readers and followers. The first book of the trilogy with the title " The Castle of Kimmeria " was published at the end of 2007. In the first half of 2008 the second and third volumes of the trilogy " The Prophecy " and " In Defiance of Death " were published.

“The Heir to the Throne” can be clearly assigned to the genre of alternative history. The sudden increase in popularity of this genre was caused by the appearance of the first novel by Vassily ZwyagintsewOdysseus Leaves Ithaca ”. “The Heir to the Throne” tells “of the terrible and glorious time, of love and hate, of war and peace. This is an encyclopedia of what has not happened, an excellent portrait of a great epoch, the pathos and meaning of which only a few understand. This is a panorama of a vision that has now been lost forever in the desert of life ”- these are the words the author uses to describe the theme of the novel.
