Vadim Chervov
Vadim Sergejewitsch Tscherwow ( Russian Вади́м Серге́евич Черво́в ; Ukrainian Вади́м Сергі́йович Черво́в ; * December 25, 1930 in Yaroslavl , Soviet Union ; † April 8, 2000 in Kiev . Ukraine ) was a Russian cellist of Ukrainian origin. Chervov was a cello teacher and holder of the chair for string instruments at the National Music Academy of Ukraine Peter Tchaikovsky in Kiev, the former Kiev Conservatory.
Vadim Chervov received his musical training at the Moscow Conservatory in cello classes from Professors GS Kosolupowa and ML Rostropovich . He was a chamber music partner in the trio with Vitaly Sjetschkin ( piano ) and Aleksei Gorochow ( violin ).
