The Lizon Supérieur is a small river in France that runs in the Jura department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region . It rises in the municipality of Lemuy , generally drains north, passes the town of Lemuy and seeps away after about 7 kilometers at the foot of the Côte Ribalet , near the hamlet of Pont-à-Moujard , in the karst subsoil. The earlier course of the river can still be followed as far as the Gouffre de Fosse Ronde , west of Dournon . The seeping water of the Lizon Supérieur reappears in the Source du Lison karst spring , where it forms the source of the Lison River .
