The Wagner Spur is a mountain ridge made of rock and ice in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . On the southeastern foothills of the Wilson Hills, it rises 18 km southeast of Mount Gorton along the northern flank of the Pryor Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after John E.
