The constituency of Dresden VI was a state electoral district for the state elections in Saxony in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Saxony. It had constituency number 44. For the state elections in 1994 , the constituency structure was changed as a result of the district reform, and the number of constituencies was reduced from 80 to 60. The area of ​​the Dresden VI constituency became part of one of the six constituencies in Dresden's urban area.

The constituency area comprised parts of the city districts center and north with the residential districts 036 to 057, 102 to 108, 143, 159 to 167, 186 to 199 and 224 to 250.
