The constituency of South Savo (most recently constituency 09) was one of 15 and 16 Finnish constituencies for the elections to the Finnish parliament from 1907 to 2011 . It consisted of the landscape of South Savo . In the parliamentary elections, each constituency is entitled to a certain number of seats in parliament, based on the number of inhabitants, the constituency of South Savo had 14 seats from 1907 to 1916, from 13 to 8 seats in 1917 to 1999. In the elections from 2003 to 2011, South Savo only had 6 seats. For the 2015 election, the constituency was merged with the Kymi constituency to form the constituency of Southeast Finland .
