Wainwright is an unincorporated community in the northern part of Warwick Township of Tuscarawas County in the US state of Ohio . The village, whose name was also known in the spelling Wainright, is located on County Highway 60, the Wainwright Road, which runs through the town as the main road from southeast to northwest. Most of the buildings are on this street, but five, about 100 m long dead ends turn at right angles to the northeast. The place is between Tuscarawas and New Philadelphia in the Lanes Valley , on the west and east of which there are forested hills rise, which reach a height of about 350 m above sea level.
