The Wakeford nunatak is a small nunatak in Mac Robertson Land, East Antarctica . It rises 3 miles east of the Central Masson Range in the Framnes Mountains .
As part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions , the Nunatak was mapped using aerial photographs from 1960 and visited by an exploration team in 1962. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named him after Reg Wakeford, cook at Mawson Station in 1962.
