Walchenfeld
Walchenfeld is the smallest part of the municipality Bundorf and is located in the Haßberge ( Bavaria ). The place currently has 77 inhabitants and is around 300 m above sea level .

Walchenfeld lies between Manau and Stöckach . The main street of the village is the district road HAS 41 . The Baunach flows east past Walchenfeld. Bundorf is just under six kilometers (as the crow flies) away.
history
It is first mentioned in writing in 1303. The origin of the place name probably goes back to water resources. The syllable w ~ l denotes a place in relation to a body of water or a spring that is regarded as valuable.
On May 1, 1978, the place was incorporated into the municipality of Bundorf.
