Manau is a district of the town of Hofheim in Lower Franconia in the Lower Franconian district of Haßberge in northern Bavaria . The Protestant theologian Christian Geyer (1862–1929) was born in Manau.

Manau is located 3.7 km northeast of the core town of Hofheim in Lower Franconia, directly on the HAS 40 district road to the north . From this the district road HAS 41 branches off to the north. The Baunach , a right tributary of the Main, flows 800 m to the east .
