Walfried King
A. Walfried König (* 1938 in Bad Oeynhausen ) is a former German ministerial official.
Life
After graduating from high school in Bad Oeynhausen in 1958, König studied sports science, Romance studies, philosophy, pedagogy and - without a degree - Latin and German studies in Freiburg, Münster, Hamburg and Grenoble. In 1965 he passed the 2nd state examination.
From 1975 until his retirement in 2001, he was Head Ministerial Counselor in the Sports Department in the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry for Urban Development and Housing, Culture and Sport.
From 2002 he held a teaching position at the Technical University of Dresden .
