Waling Dykstra (born August 14, 1821 in Froubuurt (Vrouwenparochie) in the municipality of Het Bildt ; † January 5, 1914 in Holwerd , municipality of Dongeradeel ) was a Frisian poet.

Dykstra was the son of a baker and as a young man he practiced this profession himself. He later devoted himself to literature, popular theater and the Fryske Bewegungsing, a movement for equality and the development of the West Frisian language . He owes his fame in Friesland to this last activity and his collaboration on a dictionary of West Frisian, because his works had little literary value.
