Axel Marie Gustave Hervelle (born May 12, 1983 in Liège ) is a Belgian basketball player . Its position is that of the power forward . He currently plays for Bilbao Basket .
Career
Axel Hervelle began his career in youth at the Royal Basket Club from Pepinster , where he was finally taken on in 2000 in the first team. In the 2003-04 season, the Belgian was only 20 years old, already captain of his team and brought it to 11.4 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. Real Madrid signed him in the summer of 2004 , and in his first season he won the championship with the Spanish . In 2005, Hervelle became the first Belgian ever to take part in the NBA Draft , where he was selected in 52nd place by the Denver Nuggets . In January 2010, Hervelle moved to Bilbao Basket .
