2005 NBA Draft
The 2005 NBA Draft was conducted on June 28, 2005 at Madison Square Garden in New York City , New York. In two rounds, 30 players from each NBA team were selected.
This was the last NBA draft to allow high school players. Since 2006 , only US players who will turn 19 by the end of the current year and who have graduated from high school at least one year ago have been allowed to register for the draft. International players only have to meet the age limit.
The Australian Andrew Bogut was selected as the first player by the Milwaukee Bucks .
