Élan Béarnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez (until 1989 Élan Béarnais Orthez ; 1989-2008 Élan Béarnais Pau-Orthez ) is one of the most important French basketball clubs .
The club was nine times French basketball champions and three times French cup winners . He also won the Korać Cup in 1984 .
The home games are played in the Palais des Sports de Pau . In 2009 the club had to relegate to Pro B after 34 years of uninterrupted membership in Pro A, but since 2010 it has been back in Pro A, the top division in France.
