Johan Petro (born January 27, 1986 in Paris , France ) is a French basketball player who last played for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA . He is 2.12 m tall and plays as Center .
biography
Johan Petro, born in Paris, spent his childhood and youth in Guadeloupe . His first important position as a basketball player was at the French top club Élan Béarnais Pau-Orthez . There he also celebrated his greatest success to date, winning the French championship. In the 2005 NBA Draft , Petro was chosen as the 25th pick by the Seattle SuperSonics . He played until January 7, 2009 for this franchise, which moved to Oklahoma City for the 2008/2009 season and has been called Oklahoma City Thunder since then . He was then traded against Chucky Atkins and was a player in the Denver Nuggets until he was traded to the New Jersey Nets in 2010.
