Most of the 2006/07 season Johnson again spent in the NBA Development League , this time running for the Sioux Falls Skyforce . In 22 games he scored 18.9 points, 9.7 rebounds and 3.1 blocks per game, with a field throw rate of 62.3 percent. Prior to the 2007-08 season , Johnson signed an $ 11 million, three-year deal with the Detroit Pistons.

From the 2009/10 season he played with the Toronto Raptors . In the away game against his former franchise , the Pistons, he achieved a new career record on April 12, 2010 with 26 points.
