The Walker Cirque is a distinctive and glacial ice stuffed mountain basin in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Cook Mountains, it lies on the western flank of the mouth of the McCleary Glacier . The mountain basin opens at the head of the Darwin Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2001 after Carlton Walker, who oversaw the facilities, maintenance and construction activities of Raytheon Polar Services during the modernization work at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station .
