Walk-act as pantomime Pablo Zibes

A walk act (also a walk act or walking act ) is a special form of theater play in which the actor and audience are not separated by the stage ramp , but are together in one room or at least on one level. Some of the actors only differ from the audience through their mask and costume , and some of them act without disguise. An important element is the frequent and spontaneous change of location that gives this form of representation its name. Walk acts are particularly common in street and improvisational theater . The transitions to pantomime , comedy and artistry are fluid. Walk acts are also widespread for advertising purposes, with the artists simply luring an audience to the advertiser's stand, distributing advertising slips themselves or using their costumes to advertise (company logos, commercials, etc.). The walk acts used by companies are often their mascots. Examples of walk acts in the form of mascots are the Spree fox, the pink rabbits from TALLY WEiJL or the fellow members of the LVR.
