Pablo Zibes (* 1971 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine pantomime and actor .

Life

After his acting training, u. a. at the Escuela Municipal de Arte Dramático (EMAD) in Buenos Aires, Zibes devoted himself to pantomime. He attended several courses in Argentina and Europe, such as the Swiss acting school Scuola Teatro Dimitri . As a 22-year-old he made a one-year trip around the world through Europe and Asia, which he financed largely through public pantomime. He gained very important experience for him as a pantomime and street artist , u. a. for the spontaneous in dealing with the audience.

The focus of his work is on walking acts . He can be seen at festivals, fairs, television and other events.

For his extraordinary project “Living Works of Art”, which Pablo Zibes developed together with the painter Manuel Hernández Bastante, he was awarded the special prize of the Grazie Mantua Festival in Italy in 2003. In this project, well-known paintings on canvas and asphalt are modeled two-dimensionally, while Pablo inserts himself into the picture as an immovable component.

Pablo Zibes lives in Stuttgart .
