The Walleralm is an alpine pasture with a mountain inn at 1170 meters above sea level at the foot of the Zettenkaiserkopf , a pre-summit of the Zettenkaiser . It can be reached quickly and easily by mountain bike and on foot from Hintersteiner See near Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser on a forest road. The Alm offers a panoramic view from the Kitzbüheler Horn over the Hohe Salve to the Inntal, in the background the glaciers of the Hohe Tauern can be seen.

Management

The Berggasthaus Walleralm, run by the Eberwein family from Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser , is located at 1170 m in the Wilder Kaiser nature reserve and offers overnight accommodation for up to 20 people. The Alm and the Gasthaus are only open during the summer months.

A few meters below the Walleralm mountain inn is the also managed Stöfflhütte .
