The pilgrimage church Maria Hilf is a Roman Catholic pilgrimage church in the Kleinholz district of the city of Kufstein in the Austrian state of Tyrol .

history

A chapel was mentioned in a document before 1600. The origin of the pilgrimage goes back to the Kufstein master baker Johann Schiestl and his wife Katharina Lettenbichlerin, who built a brick chapel around 1670 and had a copy of the miraculous image painted for it. The original chapel was enlarged with the money left by the two donors. The baroque central building was built from 1679 to 1681. From 1899 to 1902, the inside of the former drum dome was replaced by a flat ceiling. The pilgrimage church was restored from 1972 to 1980.
