Walter Butscheidt
Walter Butscheidt (born November 25, 1923 in Bonn , † August 4, 1980 in Konz ) was a German football player .
The goalkeeper played for two years at 1. FC Köln under the then player- coach Hennes Weisweiler , in a team with the future world champion Hans Schäfer and twelve-time national player Josef Röhrig . While he was the goats' regular goalkeeper in the first season, he couldn't get past the Dutchman Frans de Munck in the following year and only played five games. In 1951 he moved to Prussia Dellbrück . A year later he went to Eintracht Trier , for which he was in goal for nine years in a total of 200 games. In 1961 he ended his active career at the age of 38.
