Walter Edelmann

Walter Edelmann (* August 1935 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a German psychologist who specializes in learning psychology .

Life

Edelmann was a teacher in Worms and Mainz and obtained his diploma in psychology at the University of Mainz in 1967 . In 1971 he received his doctorate from RWTH Aachen University , and then worked as a research assistant and lecturer at the PH Rheinland . After completing his habilitation , he became a professor at the TU Braunschweig in 1974 and there in 1989/91 dean of the educational science department before he retired in 2001 .

In addition to university research, Edelmann worked as an appraiser for “ Lebenshilfe for the disabled child ” and as a psychological expert at the Aachen Regional Court.
