Walter Laermann (born June 25, 1901 , † August 16, 1988 ) was a German industrialist.

Live and act

Since 1941 at the latest, Laermann was the operations director and personnel officer of the ironworks company Maximilianshütte in Sulzbach-Rosenberg (also called Sulzbach-Rosenberg-Hütte), which is part of the Flick Group .

At the end of the war, Laermann was arrested by the Allies . Since he was jointly responsible for the recruitment of forced laborers due to his capacity as a personnel officer , he was used as a witness at the Nuremberg trials .

After his dismissal, Laermann was technical works manager at the Henrichshütte of Ruhrstahl AG in Hattingen.
