Walter Marty (politician)
Walter Marty (born September 18, 1962 in Ellighausen ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP) .
From 2000 to 2019 he was mayor of the Kemmental political community . He stepped back from surprising that office when he professionally replace Gemeindeschreiber of Trüllikon was promised in Zurich wine country.
From 2006 to 2019 Marty was a member of the Grand Council in the Canton of Thurgau . From 2016 to 2018 he was President of the Audit and Finance Committee of the Thurgau Grand Council. From 2008 to 2013 he was President of SVP Thurgau .
Walter Marty is married and has two children. He has lived in Frauenfeld since 2019 .
