The municipality of Trüllikon consists of three districts: Trüllikon, Rudolfingen and Wildensbuch .

history
Excavations at Hattlenbuck (Trüllikon) and Schlossberg (Rudolfingen) testify that the municipality was settled by the Bronze Age at the latest . From Roman times manors on the Cholfirst and watchtowers on the Rhine have been proven. After the final retreat of the Romans in 454, the area was settled by the Alemanni .
The place name Trüllikon goes back to the settlement of the people of the Trullo. Rudolfingen is the settlement of Rudolf's people. Wildensbuch is considered a Franconian settlement, the name comes from Buchenwald des Willigis.
The villages were first mentioned in a document in 858: the Rheinau monastery received property in Trullinchiva , Ruadolvinga and Willigisbuoh from the Alemannic nobleman Wolvene . While Trüllikon and Wildensbuch remained with Rheinau Abbey , Rudolfingen was later sold to Reichenau Abbey and then to St. Katharinental Abbey , although Rudolfingen formed its own judicial system until 1798 . In Trüllikon, jurisdiction came to the Bürkli family from Zurich in 1662, who had their residence in the "castle". With the takeover of the County of Kyburg by the city of Zurich in 1452, the high jurisdiction over Trüllikon also went to Zurich.
The municipality of Trüllikon belonged to the district of Kyburg until 1798 . During the Helvetic and mediation period, the division of Trüllikon changed from the Benken district to the Winterthur district and, in 1831, to the Andelfingen district.
In addition to today's civil parishes of Rudolfingen and Wildensbuch, Truttikon also belonged to the political community of Trüllikon. In 1878, however, Truttikon regained the status of an independent political municipality through a referendum. The church area remained unchanged, as before, Trüllikon and Truttikon together form an evangelical-reformed parish.
Civil parishes
In the Political Community of Trüllikon, Trüllikon, Rudolfingen and Wildensbuch each have their own civil parish .
The civil parishes maintain the corridors and the forest. In addition, each civil parish operates its own water supply. The governorships consist of three members each (president, estate manager and actuary). Two to three community meetings take place every year.
The civil parishes were before the end of 2009 acc. However, the cantonal constitution of the Canton of Zurich from 2006 repealed.
