As a fighter for the concerns of sick and distressed people, he repeatedly served in humanitarian campaigns such as “fight against cancer” and “check against cardiac death”. His motto for life "Be good to each other!" Became a catchphrase, which was even immortalized in a hit by composer Theo Ferstl and sung by Ditta Dunah, vocals, accompanied by the Herbert Seiter orchestra (ORF recording)

His honorary grave is located in the Vienna Central Cemetery (Group 88, Row 27, Grave 69).
