Walter Nussel

Walter Nussel (born October 12, 1965 in Erlangen ) is a German politician ( CSU ). Since February 2017 he has been the representative for reducing bureaucracy for the Bavarian State Government .

Life

education

After completing secondary school in 1981, Nussel only completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker until 1984. He then completed further training as a state-certified farmer (1987) and as a state-certified forest manager (1992) and has been a farmer ever since.

politics

Nussel occurred in 1989 in the CSU and became in 1996 the City Council of the city of Herzogenaurach chosen which he is to this day. In 1998 the CSU city council in Herzogenaurach elected him chairman. From 2002 to 2008 he was second mayor of the city of Herzogenaurach. In 1997, Nussel was elected as a direct candidate for constituency 507 Erlangen-Höchstadt in the Middle Franconia District Assembly and remained there on a voluntary basis as a district councilor for 15 years until 2013. In the 2013 state elections, Walter Nussel won the direct mandate in constituency 507 Erlangen-Höchstadt with 41.08% of the first votes. In the Bavarian Parliament , he has since become a member of the Committee on Economic and media, infrastructure, construction and transport, energy and technology, and the Committee on petitions and complaints. On February 14, 2017, the Council of Ministers appointed him as the Bavarian State Government's representative for the reduction of bureaucracy on the proposal of the then Bavarian Prime Minister Horst Seehofer . Nussel is also a district councilor of the Erlangen-Höchstadt district , chairman of the CSU district parliamentary group and deputy district chairman of the CSU Erlangen-Höchstadt.

Volunteering

Nussel practiced from 1988 to 2018 the office of the first fire chief of the volunteer fire Postal and since 2001 has been chairman of the Forestry Association of Middle Franconia. Since 2009 he has also been the chairman of 1. FC Herzogenaurach .

Private

Walter Nussel is married and has two children.
