Walter Schätzel
Walter Schätzel (born March 29, 1890 in Berlin ; † April 9, 1961 in Koblenz ) was a German legal scholar.
Life
In 1908 he studied at the University of Lausanne and from 1908 to 1911 at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin (first state examination in 1911 ). After receiving his doctorate in 1912 at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and his habilitation in 1927 at the University of Kiel , he was an adjunct professor at the University of Königsberg from 1939 to 1941 . From 1942 to 1945 he was a professor at the University of Marburg . From 1946 to 1950 he was a full professor at the University of Mainz . From 1950 to 1958, he was a professor at the University of Bonn.
