Carl Michael Gahbler

Carl Michael Gahbler (often Michael Carl Gahbler ; born June 30, 1785 in Heilsberg , East Prussia , † March 24, 1838 in Conitz , West Prussia ) was a German cadet governor and high school director in the Kingdom of Prussia.

Life

Gahbler attended high school in Braunsberg . After that, he probably studied Catholic theology. 1805 Gahbler was cadet governor (educator) in the cadet school in Culm in West Prussia. From 1806 he had to work as a tutor after the city came to the Polish Duchy of Warsaw. In 1809 Gahbler was transferred to the cadet school in Stolpe and in 1811 as such to Potsdam . Since 1816 he was employed there as a teacher.

In 1820 Carl Michael Gahbler became a senior teacher for mathematics at the grammar school in Conitz. In September 1829 he was proposed there as the new director and confirmed by the ministry in May 1831. In 1838 he died after a brief illness.

Publications

Michael Carl Gahbler was responsible for the annual school programs of the Conitz high school as director and wrote other publications.
