Walter Schellenberg (economist)

Walter Schellenberg (born June 16, 1907 ; died June 26, 1991 ) was a German Marxist economist.

Life

Walter Schellenberg was born in 1907. In 1926 he organized himself politically in the labor movement. After the Second World War he joined the SED . He was a professor and deputy head of the Chair of Political Economy at the party college "Karl Marx" . He became known through the books on Das Kapital by Karl Marx : Basic Course on “Capital” and How do I read “Das Kapital”?

His grave is in the Georgen-Parochial-Friedhof II in Berlin.
