Walter Schramm-Dunker

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Walter Schramm-Dunker (at the theater) and Walter Schramm-Duncker (at the film) (born October 9, 1890 , † after 1943) was a German actor and singer at the stage and film and a theater director .

Live and act

Schramm-Dun (c) ker had initially acted in the theater without drawing too much attention to himself and had also appeared as a singer. For many years, Schramm-Dun (c) kers has not been permanently engaged, but since 1934 he was in demand as a small actor in film. Schramm-Duncker practically covered the entire batch range in front of the camera: he played a farmer like a file folder, a ball guest like a reporter, a stage manager like a porter, a master tailor like a farmer.

Only for a short time, from 1939 to 1943, is the artist's permanent stage engagement when Schramm-Dun (c) ker worked at two venues on the Schiffbauer Damm: the Schiffbauerdamm-Theater and the Komödienhaus. At the end of the war, Walter Schramm-Dun (c) ker disappeared completely from the public eye, so that he was probably killed during the Allied bombing of Berlin that began in 1943 or during the fighting for the Reich capital in spring 1945.
