Walter Tröger (soccer player)

Walter Tröger (born July 6, 1931 ) is a former German soccer player who was active as a striker for three southern German clubs.

Career

Tröger belonged to the squad of 1. FC Nuremberg for the 1954/55 season , for which he wore the jersey 15 times, including one in the league game in the Oberliga Süd .

For the 1956/57 season he moved to the second division club FC Bayern Hof , which he left at the end of the season.

For the Oberliga Süd returned Bayern Munich for the season 1956/57 obliged, he played only one competitive match. It was used on March 9, 1957 in the 3-1 victory over TSV Straubing in the 2nd round in the competition for the South German Cup and scored the goal to make it 2-0 in the 37th minute. So he had a share in the later cup win, which his team in Munich secured with the 4-1 victory on June 26, 1957 over 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 .
