Walter Walker (General)
Sir Walter Colyear Walker (born November 11, 1912 in British India , † August 12, 2001 ) was a British general. He is not to be confused with US General Walton Walker (1889–1950).
Walker was among other things during the Konfrontasi - a conflict between Malaysia and Indonesia in the 1960s - the commander in chief of the British armed forces. For his military achievements he received the Order of the Bath , the Order of the British Empire and the Distinguished Service Order . During the 1970s, Walker led a fascist movement against Harold Wilson's Labor government and preparing to crush a general strike.
