Walter von Vincke

Walter Freiherr von Vincke (born November 25, 1854 in Koblenz , † February 1, 1920 on Gut Ostenwalde ) was a German administrative lawyer and landowner.

origin

His parents were the senior government councilor Friedrich von Vincke (1824-1901) and his wife Bernhardine Düesberg (1829-1910). His sister Marie (1860-1944) was married to Colonel Georg von Oppen (1858-1915). The reformer Ludwig von Vincke (1774–1844) was his grandfather.

Life

Vincke was a son of the Oberregierungsrat Freiherr von Vincke in Koblenz. He studied law in Heidelberg , Strasbourg and Göttingen . In Heidelberg he was a member of the Corps Vandalia .

After the legal traineeship examination in Celle (1875) and the court assessor examination in Berlin (1881), he entered the government career and became government assessor in Hamm, and in 1882 district administrator of the Hamm district . In 1894 he resigned from the civil service and was the owner of the Fideikomiss in Ostenwalde near Melle, chamberlain and councilor of the knighthood of the Principality of Osnabrück .

family

Vincke was married to Erna Freiin Henn von Henneberg (1868–1916) since 1891. His son Gerhard Freiherr von Vincke (* 1893) followed him as a landowner in Ostenwalde.
