Walther (artist family)
The Walther family was a family of artists who worked in Saxony in the 16th and 17th centuries , primarily as sculptors and architects .

- Hans Walther I (1464–1511) stonemason, later sculptor. Father of Christoph Walther I. In 1484 he was accepted into the stonemasons' guild. In 1497 he went on a journey to Saxony, Bavaria and Austria. Works: Figure of Christopher on the portal of the church Neurode (Silesia).
