Walther Döbel

Walther Döbel (born October 3, 1885 ; † 1963 ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Career

After completing his doctorate, he was district administrator in Alzenau from 1927 to 1930 . From 1930 to 1940 he worked for the government of Middle Franconia in Ansbach and then moved to the administration of the Reich Prize Commissioner until the end of the war .

After the war, he worked from 1946 to 1948 for the Central Food and Agriculture Office in the British Zone and the Food, Agriculture and Forestry Administration of the United Economic Area. From 1950 to 1952 he headed Division IV 3 (Price Policy) in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture with the rank of Ministerial Councilor . In 1952 he was awarded the Great Federal Cross of Merit.
