Walther Lauersen

Walther Lauersen (* March 14, 1906 ; † September 7, 2007 ) was a German economist and scientific director of the Institute for the World Economy (IfW) based in Kiel .

Walther Lauersen was head of Department IV until May 1945. Evaluation and approval (statistics) in the machine reporting of the Reich Ministry for Armaments and War Production. The evaluations were delivered to the management of the RMin under Albert Speer . Government councilor Lauersen was supported by Grotius.

After the war, Lauersen worked for the Kiel Institute for the World Economy from 1950 to 1971.
