Waltraud Ablinger-Ebner (born April 12, 1980 in Faistenau as Waltraud Ebner ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and as such a councilor in Faistenau. From 2006 to 2013 and from January to June 2018 she was a member of the Salzburg state parliament .

Education and political functions

Waltraud Ebner attended elementary and secondary school in Faistenau and the agricultural and domestic technical school Heffterhof (today Klessheim ). After completing compulsory schooling and technical college, Ebner completed an apprenticeship as an office clerk at the office of the Salzburg state government. She then passed the service examination, and she also graduated from the evening high school.

Ebner was politically active in the Young People's Party (JVP) and was a member of the Faistenau local group committee from 1996. She held the position of chairwoman at JVP Faistenau for two years and was a girls' advisor for several years. In addition, Ebner was subsequently elected to the district board of the JVP Flachgau and the Salzburg regional board of the JVP. Ebner has been a community representative in Faistenau since 2004.

After Johannes Miller withdrew from the Salzburg state parliament, Ebner succeeded as a member of parliament on October 18, 2006 and took over the areas of youth and state employees as spokeswoman for the ÖVP state parliament club. She belonged to the state parliament until 2013.

On January 31, 2018 Waltraud Ablinger-Ebner was after the change of Brigitta Pallauf as a Regional Minister in the jun provincial government Haslauer. I again sworn in as a member of the state parliament. After the state elections in Salzburg in 2018 , she left the state parliament.
