Waltraud Markmann Kawinski

Waltraud Markmann Kawinski (born August 3, 1931 in Düsseldorf ; † November 25, 2012 in Linz am Rhein ) was a German painter , graphic artist and writer . She also worked under the pseudonym WaMaKa.

life and work

Waltraud Markmann Kawinski studied free painting at the Düsseldorf Art Academy under Otto Pankok from 1947 to 1953 and free graphics from 1973 to 1977 at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences . Her work includes woodcuts , lithographs , drawings , etchings , watercolors , oil paintings and acrylic paintings as well as various books and texts.
