Waltraut Engelberg

Waltraut Engelberg (née Duchatsch , married Seifert ; born August 19, 1929 in Langenbielau , district of Reichenbach , Silesia ) is a German specialist in German and co-author of Ernst Engelberg .

Waltraut Engelberg studied in Leipzig, where she also received her doctorate and worked as an assistant to Hans Mayer and Wieland Herzfelde . In addition to working on the works of her husband Ernst Engelberg, she has published articles on Kurt Tucholsky , Ernst Toller , Hans Mayer as well as language-critical and satirical works. The publicist Achim Engelberg is her son.
