The Wambachsee is one of the six lakes of the Sechs-Seen-Platte in Wedau . It is the only lake that is not directly connected to the other lakes. It is connected to Lake Masuria by an underground canal that borders the canoeing club .
There is a pedal boat rental for the Wambachsee on the Kalkweg .
The Wambachsee is the only lake in the Sechs-Seen-Platte in which diving is permitted. The lake is also a training center for the Association of German Scuba Divers . A diving entry point for recreational divers , which is intended to facilitate entry, is located on the eastern shore of the lake.
