The Wanda Glacier ( Polish Lodowiec Wandy ) is a glacier on the south coast of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It flows from Kraków Dome on the southwest flank of the Warkocz group of hills in a north-westerly direction to Martel Inlet , a side bay of Admiralty Bay .
Participants of a Polish Antarctic Expedition named it after Princess Wanda , the daughter of Krak , Duke of Vandals and central figure in the founding myth of the city of Krakow .
