Wanda Bottesi
The from Innsbruck Wanda Bottesi (* 1923) is an Austrian Righteous Among the Nations .
In the summer of 1944 she saved the two Jews Leokadia Justman-Wisńicki and Mirjam Fuchs from being sent to a concentration camp .
First she took them both in their apartment at Ingenieur-Etzel-Straße 28 and hid them there for weeks. A friend of Bottesis, Police Inspector Anton Dietz , obtained forged papers, which the two of them passed off as Christian Polish women. Leokadia Justman and Mirjam Fuchs were able to survive as Polish foreign workers in Salzburg until the end of the war .
