The Wanderer W 6 18.6 PS is a car of the lower middle class , which the Wanderer-Werke in 1921 as a complement to the small car Puppchen brought out.

The vehicle had a 4-cylinder OHV in-line engine with a displacement of 1.55 liters and an output of 18 hp. It drove the rear wheels via a 4-speed gearbox with a shift lever on the inside right. The cars had a U-profile frame and leaf-sprung rigid axles and were available as open touring cars or limousines (inner handlebars).

In 1923 a revised model appeared under the name Wanderer W 9 6/24 PS . Its engine with the same displacement now developed 24 hp. The gear lever was moved to the middle of the car.

In 1926 the series was replaced by the W 10 model after around 2000 copies .
