Wang Junkai ( Chinese : 王俊凯 ; Pinyin : Wáng Jùnkǎi ; born September 21, 1999 in Chongqing ) is a Chinese actor and singer with the boy group TFBOYS .

Life

Wang Junkai was born in Chongqing in 1999, his father is a taxi driver. In 2010, he was accidentally spotted by Time Fengjun Entertainment while auditioning at his elementary school . In 2011 he became a trainee at the TF family , which encourages young people between the ages of eight and twelve to sing, dance and perform. Since 2012, Wang Junkai has published cover versions of pop songs online and has found its first fans. He has been singing with TFBOYS since 2013 . He is currently attending the eighth high school in Chongqing City .

Career

The music video for Ten Years was released on August 6, 2013 . In it, the founding of the three-member boy group TFBOYS , consisting of Wang Junkai, Wang Yuan and Yi Yangqianxi, was announced. So far, the group has released three mini albums and several songs.

On September 21, 2014, Wang Junkai tweeted a cover video on Sina Weibo that had been shared over 40 million times as of June 22, 2015. That made him the record holder for "Most Quoted Retweet" listed in the Guinness Book of Records .

Wang Junkais starred as a youthful emperor in Zhang Yimou's fantasy film The Great Wall .

social commitment

2015 represented Wang Junkai the national excellent young people at two conferences in the great hall of the people that the Communist Youth League of China staged. China Central Television reported on him as a youth idol.
