Wang Ka ( Thai วัง กะ ) is a small town ( เทศบาล ตำบล วัง กะ ) in Sangkhlaburi County ( Amphoe ) in the northern part of Kanchanaburi Province . Kanchanaburi Province is located in the west of the central region of Thailand on the border with Myanmar (Burma).

Wang Ka is located in the far west of Thailand near the border with Burma. The small town is located on the northern edge of the Khao Laem Reservoir, which is formed by the Vajiralongkorn Dam in the Maenam Kwae Noi (Kwae Noi River) . Nearby is the Three Pagoda Pass , which has long been a gateway for military expeditions from both sides of the border.

In addition to the Thai here also many other live mountain people of the country, such as Hmong and Karen .

Attractions

Wang Ka's main attraction is the idyllic area in which the city is embedded. It is located on a beautiful lake, which is actually by a river downstream barrage of Maenam Kwae Noi is formed.
