Wang Xinyue (born July 30, 1987 in Harbin , Heilongjiang Province , People's Republic of China ) is a short tracker from Hong Kong .

Wang's first international start took place in the 2007/08 Short Track World Cup , where she achieved at least 15th place in her native Harbin . At the 2008 World Cup in Gangneung , she finished seventeenth in the all-round competition, and even came twelfth on the individual distance over 1500 meters. She achieved her first top placement in the World Cup in Vancouver in November 2008, when she was only eliminated in the semi-finals and was the last to reach eighth place in the B final.

Although Hong Kong cannot keep up with the successes of its neighbors China , South Korea and Japan on the short track and therefore does not have a relay, Wang does not travel to the World Cups alone. Another irregular starter there is Han Yue Shuang , but she has missed good results so far.
