The Wann & Wo is a free newspaper that appears on Wednesdays and Sundays with a circulation of around 138,000 and is delivered to the majority of households in Vorarlberg . The Vorarlberg media company has owned the magazine since it was bought out in 1984 .

The self-image of the newspaper is to serve as large an audience as possible through broad-based topics (from taboo topics to charity campaigns), and to be particularly attractive for advertisers through the very large reach of over 80%. In terms of content, the Wann & Wo is aimed at a younger audience. Stylistically, it can be assigned to the tabloids . The articles are designed with large-format images, often also with symbolic images or photo montages and relatively little text with a very high proportion of quotations.

A specific feature of the small-format weekly newspaper is a strong cross-media approach with a supplement that appears on Wednesdays, which is only contested with party pictures and which is mutated for four Vorarlberg districts . So-called Dot.com reporters go out to take photos at public events and private parties. The photos are then presented in the print product as well as on the Vorarlberg Online internet portal .

The best known columnist is the Vorarlberg artist Ulrich Gabriel . In the section of the letters to the editor there are always two to three caricatures on the current political situation in Austria or the world, drawn by Christian Berger.
